Arun Gupta is an experienced founder, CEO, and Board Chairman of high-impact, high-ambition technology start-ups. His biggest current involvement is serving as Executive Chairman of the Board of Parallel Systems, an autonomy company building battery-electric, self-propelled rail cars and the software operating system to power autonomous freight operations.
Arun previously played key leadership and Board roles in the founding and/or scale-ups of over 10 start-ups, including Quartet Health, iD Tech, Accolade, and Palantir Technologies. Earlier in his career, Arun was a Venture Builder and General Partner at Accretive, which built over 10 industry-defining technology companies including several IPOs. He also held roles at McKinsey & Company and The World Bank.
Arun earned a Master's Degree from the Harvard Kennedy School where he was a Reynolds Fellow for Social Entrepreneurship and graduated with honors from Duke University. He currently serves on several private company Boards, not-for-profit Boards, and advises venture capital and growth equity investors as well as large corporates on AI, technology, and innovation.
